Learn the job next door. AI makes it easier to own more of the workflow, not just do your current task faster.

• If you're an engineer, learn product and talk to customers. If you're in product, learn architecture, implementation and testing.
• Use AI as a sparring partner: ask questions, challenge your assumptions, build outside your specialism and inspect the results.
• You don't need to become an expert in everything. Learn enough of the adjacent disciplines to understand their decisions and trade-offs.
• The opportunity is to take responsibility for more of the loop, from identifying a problem to learning whether you've solved it.
• Don't wait for your job description to change before broadening your capabilities.
